Strategies to Protect Our Towns: Part 2

This meeting will continue the meeting of February 8 when citizens from more than 20 Maine towns shared their experience with designing and enacting ordinances and moratoriums to protect themselves from unwanted development including the East-West Corridor. This meeting will continue earlier discussions and information sharing toward building alliances across our threatened communities.

*Special pre-meeting: Noon - 2pm* There will be a special meeting for residents of Greenbush, Argyle, Alton, Old Town and others who have recently learned of a plan to site waste processing and landfilling facilities in their towns. Bring what you know, be ready to share and learn from others.

Everyone is welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring pot-luck main courses or snacks to share during these meetings. For further details, please call Paul Schroeder at 907-0906.
