SOS. Has the news got you down, has the election put you in a quandary?
You are not alone! Why is it that the loudest voices don't sound at all like the friends and neighbors, work colleagues and activist allies who you know and trust the most?
Is there a special concern or vision that you'd like to share? Then please join with other voices that are ready to be heard. Dreams and inspirations, doubts and hesitations - all are welcome as Happy Acres renews its tradition of public speak-outs and free speech forums.
Beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday Sept. 17 the Hall will provide an open mike where everyone is welcome to share and hear from others. This event will include shared food and beverages and most of all, shared good will. Note: This event will be alcohol-free, thanks!
This event is co-sponsored by the Rines Tavern Memorial Society and Eclectic Non-Elected Citizens for a Change. All are welcome, free and open to the public. See you in the Hall 4-8 p.m. Saturday!
